How do I become a traffic controller?

To begin working in traffic control, you must have a current White Card; if you do not have a White Card or it has expired, you can complete this qualification with Evolution.

The second requirement is for you to complete the traffic control license. For further qualifications, you can also complete the Traffic Management Implementation Card. Evolution Training Solutions offers all courses.

Are there any COVID 19 vaccination requirements at Evolution?

Vaccination is not a requirement for employees at the Evolution Group. However, some clients and state governments have mandated it which Evolution is required to abide by:

Queensland and New South Wales

There are no vaccination requirements for employees at the Evolution Group. Having said that, some clients do require our traffic controllers to be fully vaccinated which may impact available work hours.

Western Australia

The Western Australian state government has made workplace vaccination mandatory for high-risk industries including Building and Construction, resulting in all Evolution Traffic Controllers in Western Australia to be fully vaccinated.

Am I guaranteed a position after completing the course?

Evolution Group cannot guarantee that students who complete a course will receive a position within the company. However, we are continually hiring, and with the proper qualification finding traffic control employment will be quick.

Can I work in traffic control in Queensland if I only have a TC License from another state?

No, interstate traffic controller accreditation will not be transferable in Queensland. However, you will be able to complete a shorter training course.
